The following are some frequently placed positions:
  • Administrative (Show, Sales, Conference, Press, Speaker Offices)
    Answer phones, questions and assist people dealing with show-related challenges. Minimum requirements: Professional, able to handle phones and two-way radio. Comfortable dealing with different cultures, executive-level staff, VIPs and attendees/exhibitors facing challenges. Ability to work calmly and efficiently under high stress.
  • Badge Holder Pick-Up
    Distribute badges and appropriate colored badge holders. Alphabetizing may be required. Minimum requirements: Must be friendly, outgoing and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Mostly sitting but may be required to stand if busy.
  • Bag Stuffer
    Assist with placing giveaways or promotional materials into bags, backpacks, etc. Minimum requirements: Ability to reach, bend, lift and push up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Booth Host / Hostess
    Work with exhibitor in booth on show floor. Greet attendees, collect lead details, demonstrate basic product knowledge and may assist with sales. Minimum requirements: Professional appearance, outgoing personality and articulate. Previous experience in retail or sales preferred.
  • Cashier
    Cash handling and reconciliation of cash box. Minimum requirements: Basic math skills and comfortable handling cash transactions.
  • Greeter / Line Monitor / Directional
    Welcome people in a professional friendly manner. May provide directions and distribute literature. Minimum requirements: Must be friendly, outgoing and comfortable approaching people. Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
  • Information Clerk
    Provide directions and answer basic questions about the event, show venue and Las Vegas area. Minimum requirements: Must be friendly, outgoing and knowledgeable about Las Vegas.
  • Interpreter
    Fluently converse and provide assistance within a specified language. Minimum requirements: Fluency in English and an advanced knowledge of an additional language.
  • Lead Retrieval
    Unpack, program, distribute, collect and repack lead retrieval unit. Demonstrate good customer service skills while interacting with customers. Minimum requirements: Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and have experience with computer keyboards. Standing, bending, lifting and stooping throughout the day.
  • On-site Event Coordinator / Logistics
    Position will vary based upon show requirements and client needs. Duties may include overseeing management of temporary staff and set up of sessions, banquets and other events. Reviewing BEOs and confirming accurate numbers. Performing counts on food and beverage consumption and number of attendees at sessions.
  • Registration Typist
    Enter names, addresses and other information into computers using specialized software. Minimum requirements: Able to accurately type at least 35 wpm and be very comfortable with a mouse. May be required to sit or stand all day based on type of registration.
  • Room Monitor
    Check in participants to meetings and sessions. Alphabetizing, counting and scanning of badges may be required. May be asked to assist guest speaker with resolving issues that arise. Minimum requirements: Must be friendly, outgoing, comfortable approaching people and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Typically a sitting position but may be required to stand during peak times.
  • Runner / Stocker
    Distribute materials and supplies to specified location throughout the registration areas and show floor. Minimum requirements: Ability to reach, bend, lift and push up to 25 pounds. Stand/walk for long periods of time.
  • Scanner Clerk
    Scan badges at show entrance. Minimum requirements: Must be friendly, outgoing and comfortable approaching people. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Usher
    Greet and escort individuals to their seats in a professional, friendly manner. Minimum requirements: Must be friendly, outgoing and comfortable approaching people. Able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
